Alchemy: Preliminary Notes

To Turn to Water
Anything can shape you:
A tunnel,
A void,
A rock wall,
A long, shallow beach.
You will take whatever form the world gives you.

To Vanish
Know that the space you occupy
Must be completely and utterly replaced
By things that are not you.
You are making way for them
And you don’t even know what they are.

To Turn to Light
Now this is your great work.
You must seek out the darkness and change it.
Expose the hidden thing,
Feed eyes:
Alarm the seer and the seen.
